O nedenle her t\u00fcr menenjit bakterisine kar\u015f\u0131 tek tip a\u015f\u0131yla y\u00fcksek koruyuculuk sa\u011flad\u0131k. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla mevcut a\u015f\u0131lardan daha geni\u015f bir kapsay\u0131c\u0131l\u0131k elde ettik. Menenjit bakterisinin de\u011fi\u015fik varyantlar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 da koruyuculuk sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koyduk. Farkl\u0131 tekniklerle zenginle\u015ftirdi\u011fimiz yeni nesil a\u015f\u0131n\u0131n g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir imm\u00fcnolojik antikor yan\u0131t\u0131 olu\u015fturdu\u011funu ve koruyucu etkinli\u011fini hayvan deneylerimizde g\u00f6sterdik. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131z\u0131n \u00f6nemi bu.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Uluslararas\u0131 makaleyle koruma potansiyeli ispatland\u0131<\/h3>\n<p>Prof. Dr. G\u00fcrsel, AR-GE \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma sonu\u00e7lar\u0131na dair makalenin &#8220;International Immunology&#8221; dergisinde yay\u0131mlan\u0131p, bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131na duyuruldu\u011funu belirterek, \u015f\u00f6yle devam etti:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Makalemizde, hastal\u0131k yap\u0131c\u0131 menenjit serotipleri olan A, B, W, X ve Y&#8217;ye kar\u015f\u0131 k\u00fcresel etkili ve ekonomik bir koruma potansiyelinin sa\u011fland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ispatlad\u0131k. Mevcut ticari menenjit a\u015f\u0131lar\u0131na k\u0131yasla, antikor yan\u0131tlar\u0131 \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde daha y\u00fcksek \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. A\u015f\u0131n\u0131n, \u00f6zellikle riskli b\u00f6lgelerde mevcut menenjit a\u015f\u0131lar\u0131na alternatif veya tamamlay\u0131c\u0131 bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm olarak hizmet etme potansiyeli bulunuyor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bundan sonraki s\u00fcre\u00e7te laboratuvar ortam\u0131nda toksik analizlerin yap\u0131laca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve daha sonra sanayiden ortaklarla iyi \u00fcretim ko\u015fullar\u0131nda klinikte \u00e7al\u0131\u015facaklar\u0131n\u0131 belirten G\u00fcrsel, &#8220;Daha sonra \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz ortaya \u00e7\u0131kacak. Bunun i\u00e7in \u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fczde ortalama 3-4 y\u0131ll\u0131k bir s\u00fcre\u00e7 var.&#8221; dedi.<\/p>\n<h3>&#8220;Di\u011fer hastal\u0131klara kar\u015f\u0131 a\u015f\u0131 geli\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in yol g\u00f6sterici olacak&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n menenjit a\u015f\u0131s\u0131 geli\u015ftirme alan\u0131nda \u00f6nemli bir ilerlemeyi temsil etti\u011fini belirten Prof. Dr. G\u00fcrsel, \u015funlar\u0131 kaydetti:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n bulgular\u0131, sadece menenjit hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemekle kalmay\u0131p, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck gelirli \u00fclkelerde s\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclen di\u011fer bula\u015f\u0131c\u0131 hastal\u0131klara kar\u015f\u0131 maliyeti d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck a\u015f\u0131lar\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesine de yol g\u00f6sterebilir nitelikte.
