Bu sonu\u00e7lar, t\u00fcm\u00f6rler taraf\u0131ndan uyar\u0131lmas\u0131 durumunda bu mekanizmalar\u0131n kas kayb\u0131nda do\u011frudan rol alabilece\u011fini g\u00f6steriyor.&#8221; <\/p>\n<h3>Kanser hastalar\u0131n\u0131n kas biyopsi \u00f6rnekleri incelendi<\/h3>\n<p>Bu konuyla ilgili ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131na yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 tamamlay\u0131p 2017&#8217;de T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;ye d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlatan K\u0131r, ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k 6 y\u0131l s\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc dile getirdi.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi K\u0131r, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 4 doktora \u00f6\u011frencisi, 1 doktora sonras\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131 ve 1 lisans \u00f6\u011frencisi olmak \u00fczere 7 ki\u015filik ekiple birlikte s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fcklerini belirterek, yay\u0131nlanan bilimsel makalenin birinci yazarlar\u0131ndan da olan doktora \u00f6\u011frencileri \u015eevval Nur Bilgi\u00e7 ve Aylin Domaniku&#8217;nun ara\u015ft\u0131rmada en \u00e7ok sorumluluk alan \u00f6\u011frenciler oldu\u011funu vurgulad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Kanser hastalar\u0131ndan toplanan dokular\u0131n incelenmesi i\u00e7in Bel\u00e7ikal\u0131 3 bilim insan\u0131n\u0131n da \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya dahil edildi\u011fini aktaran K\u0131r, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada kanser hastalar\u0131n\u0131n kas biyopsi \u00f6rneklerinin incelendi\u011fini, k\u00fclt\u00fcrlenmi\u015f kas h\u00fccrelerinde molek\u00fcler d\u00fczeyde deneyler ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirildi\u011fini, geneti\u011fi de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015f (transgenik) fareler \u00fczerinde t\u00fcm\u00f6r ekimi deneyleri yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 bildirdi.<\/p>\n<h3>Ara\u015ft\u0131rmada hangi bulgular elde edildi? <\/h3>\n<p>Dr. \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Serkan K\u0131r, ara\u015ft\u0131rmada elde ettikleri bulgular\u0131n, t\u00fcm\u00f6r\u00fcn varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 durumunda &#8220;OSM&#8221; ve &#8220;EDA2R&#8221; proteinlerini i\u00e7eren iki farkl\u0131 mekanizman\u0131n kas dokusunda aktifle\u015fti\u011fini, bu mekanizmalar\u0131n ikisinin de kas kayb\u0131n\u0131 do\u011frudan uyarabildi\u011fini g\u00f6sterdi\u011fini anlatt\u0131. <\/p>\n<p>Sonu\u00e7larda kas dokusunda birbirlerini de uyarabilen bu mekanizmalar\u0131n kas kayb\u0131n\u0131 daha da dramatik hale getirdi\u011fine dikkati \u00e7eken K\u0131r, mekanizmada yer alan hormon benzeri bir proteinin, kansere ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak kanda art\u0131\u015f g\u00f6stermesiyle kas dokusu \u00fczerindeki etkisinin tetiklendi\u011fini g\u00f6zlemlediklerini aktard\u0131. <\/p>\n<p>Serkan K\u0131r, geneti\u011fi de\u011fi\u015ftirilmi\u015f ve mekanizma genlerinin (OSM, EDA2R ve NIK) ortadan kald\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 farelerde yap\u0131lan t\u00fcm\u00f6r ekimi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n ise bu mekanizmalar\u0131n kas kayb\u0131nda \u00f6nemli roller \u00fcstlendi\u011fini g\u00f6sterdi\u011fine de\u011findi. <\/p>\n<p>Mekanizma genlerinin yoklu\u011funda, farelerin t\u00fcm\u00f6rlere ba\u011fl\u0131 kas kayb\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 diren\u00e7 kazanmay\u0131 ba\u015fard\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan bahseden K\u0131r, &#8220;\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131zda kas kayb\u0131nda rol alan yeni molek\u00fcler mekanizmalar ke\u015ffettik. Ke\u015ffetti\u011fimiz mekanizmalar\u0131n ba\u015fka hangi g\u00f6revleri oldu\u011funa dair \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya devam ediyoruz. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n farkl\u0131 kas hastal\u0131klar\u0131 ve ya\u015flanmaya ba\u011fl\u0131 kas kayb\u0131 s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinde de aktif rol alaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcyor.
